A.W. is a native of Dallas Texas born and raised.
He graduated from H.G. Spruce High School.
Enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces soon after high school.
Started work for Dallas County around 1979 and still remains today.
He also runs a small catering business BBQ and ENTERTAINMENT.
He enrolled in junior college at El-Centro for a few semesters taking a course in Digital Music Production.
A.W. is a Talented singer-song writer / producer. He wrote and produced his first C.D. single entitled: "It's an On and Off Thang Between Us".
He has auditioned and sung for many Talent SHow Events such as:
"K104FM Morning Show Hood Idol"
"Gimmie The Mic"
"Auto Mall in Arlington"
"Kwanza Fest"
"Afroscene.com"
"Live At The Apollo"
He was an opening act for a Dallas group called "The Mighty Marvelous 4".
He was also picked in 2004 by "The Steve Harvey Morning Show" to sing at the "Apollo On Tour Show" at The Music Hall in Fair Park. Out of 25 people he was 1 of 2 people left standing as a runner up to the winning contestant.
